Membership Levels
The Point Mallard Figure Skating Club offers several different levels of membership. Choose which level best suits your needs.
Full Membership - $55.00
This membership is for any active skater that is testing, competing or skating USFigure Skating. The full membership intitals the skater to all the benefits of the club (magazine subscription, voting rights (if over 18years of age), Club Skates, merchandise, punch cards, testing and competitions at reduced rates).
2nd Family Member - $22.00
This membership is the same as the full membership except only one magazine can be sent to each household. This is also the membership that parents with children under 18 years of age will sign up for to satisfy the Club's new by-law about parents being voting members.
Associate Member - $20.00
For those skaters that have a home club and wish to be part of the Point Mallard Figure Skating Club this is the membership for you. There are no voting rights for an associate member; however, you do still have the benefit of all the club skates and club sponsored events.
Basic Skills Member - $15.00
Requirement for this level is current enrollment in the Basic Skills Curriculum through the Point Mallard Skating School. This membership affords the beginner skater with the opportunity to be a part of a supportive skating community. Basic skills members will be able to participate in club skates, take part in club events, help with fundraising and even wear club apparel. Please note parents are NOT required to join if their skater is a Basic Skills member.
Non-skating Member - $30.00
For those individuals that wish to support the sport of figure skating and the Point Mallard Figure Skating Club this is the membership for you. Because the Club is a non-profit organization - your membership to the club is a tax deduction. You may also take part in all the Club events. This membership does NOT have voting rights.
Collegiate Member - $110.00
For those skaters that are full time students and wish to pay for their membership for 4 years. This will cover their membership for the entire time they are in college. Membership intitals the skater to all the benefits of the club (magazine subscription, voting rights (if over 18years of age), Club Skates, merchandise, punch cards, testing and competitions at reduced rates).
