The Adult Synchro Team from Point Mallard FSC, skated a wonderful program on February 2nd.  The 10 member team took the ice with confidence and poise.  The program was filled with intersections, wheels, intricate footwork sequences and spectaular line steps.  The ladies performed really well for skating in the new Adult Open category.  They are planning on skating in a few more competitions this season.

 Blades In Decatur 2008

What a success the first annual Blades In Decatur Basic Skills competition was.  With over 70 competitors, PMFSC is proud to have hosted such a wonderful event for the beginning skater.  Skaters all received medals and a goodie bag filled with wonderful items (water bottles, beach balls, water park information, coupons, and a raffle ticket).  Competition Chair, Chris Jones, reported that skaters representing Point Mallard, Pelham Skating School, Mississippi FSC, Nashville FSC and Ohio were present.  We look forward to hosting Blades In Decatur again in 2009!!!
